You're not alone. I had to stop making cookies and cashew brittle because I couldn't stop nibbling. I'm very thankful for my sleeve this holiday season, or no doubt I would be over indulging. Don't beat yourself up. Tomorrow is a new day.

Just think sampling is still better than what you were eating and not sampling could lead to eating more. Hang in there we are human.

Thank you both so much !!! You are so right !!! We only have a few more days until this holiday is over and I want to treat my family to their favorites .... MERRY christmas ..

I made a bunch of freezer bagged slow cooker meals, casseroles, soups, stews, etc and stocked the freezer. This way it'll be a long time before I need to prep and taste things. I used a few good websites let me know if this would help you. I can find them. I have always been thins kind of cook for weekdays so I just doubled all my usual recipes and stocked it! Otherwise I am sure I would be more tempted. I even threw a slow cooker meal in post op day 3 to treat my neighbors who were babysitting me while my hubby went to work.

Kimrig- I would love some if your recipes or websites.
