Yep, I have the same thing. Just realized this week the weird sensation while running my fingers across my belly in that region. Feels like a sunburn. ..highly sensitive. Here's hoping that each day you will see improvement! Mine was so painful in the beginning I would shake in fear before sitting down. Now I might have a slight burning sensation. It does get better!

Checked in...blood drawn... IV started' date=' and the 1st of two swallow of something nasty, next swallow in 30 minutes... Thank you everyone for your wonderful support on this Christmas Eve Eve!! Trying to stay positive and not think to much, as this is an anniversary date of a house fire and lost a beloved Great Dane, several years ago. "That which does not destroy you, defines you."

liquid Tylenol is proving to a bit elusive to find... CVS, and Walgreens so far don't carry it! Well I need to get home and lay down.

Well I have peace of mind... On my way home. All labs' date=' X-rays, and scans were perfect, ruled out everything that could be wrong. The burning pain, and weird skin sensation is being attributed to possibly nerves re-routing...Was told liquid Tylenol, but no longer than a week. I wish I had more of an answer, really. I have to trust that all is good, except being in pain...Thank you All'!!

Glad you are okay. Take it easy. Others have said CVS carries adult liquid Tylenol, but where I live, I have been using children's...yucky sweet, but my only choice.

darling, I didn't vomit until the first dose of liquid tylenol. It's horrifficly disgusting. kind of like a cup full of sugar with some syr up to dampen the pain....take pills dear. You won't have trouble with them but the liquid stuff will kill you (though to find it darling you need to look in the childrens section, not the adults...it's there at cvs)

I stil worry for you but hope all is well. Listen to your body and don't dismiss any other pain. This is not normal my dear. So watch it like a hawk.

I know this pain doesn't seem normal to most but my doctor warned me about it before I left the hospital. Most never experience it but a small few will. Some feel it right away and others may experience it a few weeks out after over doing it. I still freaked out all weekend at home about it and spoke to the doctor daily. After doing research online I realized I wasn't alone.

Remember you are not alone...and it will get better. Each day I see small improvements. Hope you will to!

Wow. That's the first time I've heard that before. I hope you feel better soon. Try really hard not to use your stomach muscles for a few days. sleep on a recliner or w lots of pillows. If you are laying down' date=' to get up have someone help you from behind. The less 'sit up' type of strain you put on your tummy, the better you should feel. And try not to bend to pick things up either. Good luck![/quote']

No doubt! The only time I am pain free is laying down and some sitting up. My hubby working until Wednesday, so I thought I'd run to Walgreens for some Tylenol... Huh uh! Nope ... barely got in door, back to car. Waiting for it to subside now, so can drive with all these hooligans out here. Ho Ho Ho!!

I'm home...Thankfully my husband, his 4 adult children, and our 4 grand kids, agreed to a January 1st Christmas this year. ( my husband working, and me not very mobile). I'm taking nothing for the pain yet, was gonna try CVS here in a sec, but it is Christmas Eve... have no idea what's open. My husband should be off 10pm, if the snow/rain/storms hold off for North and East Texas, otherwise he be home 6am. Really surprised I didn't get a pain shot or script....because I really cannot do anything but sit here by my lonesome... I'm okay though, I'm gonna make it thru this.

Yes you are going to make it! You are in my prayers, I am asking the Lord to let your husband find the Tylenol so you might have some relief. Glad you made it home.

Another episode of shooting hot pain...All I was doing was reaching for the door knob to let my Great Danes out. I nearly keeled over. WTH...I'm dressed and headed to CVS for Tylenol... will it really make a difference? This is getting sooooo depressing... I want my husband off work, my mom alive, my dad able to drive over here... something...my 3 dogs are wondering why I'm crying. I know there's alot worse things and issues, but this is my pain, and this is crazy!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
