Congratulations! For me it was, I had heartburn/gas for about 4 days until it settled down a bit. I'm taking Prilosec per my doctors instructions for a month and Gax X strips or chewables when needed.

Good luck!

pretty normal, glad you went with the sleeve instead of bypass. You won't be sorry...

I had really bad heartburn for the first 4 or 5 days...I'm on prilosec though and it's been a huge help! :)

The heartburn is normal since your not eating anything solid you will have an excess of stomach acid which causes the heartburn, any time you drink it will stir it up, my doctor also has me taking a Prilosec a day for this but says it will get better in a couple weeks. Also the Prilosec my dr has me taking is the same as the generic available over the counter at walmart, but you should probably ask your dr if he didn't put you on it.

Thanks everyone I guess I'd not expected a sleeve so wasn't or I'm not 100% sure what been done and what to expect. I've just woke 3am and taken some pain relief my days it's sore.
