Finished Week 1 Of Pre-Op Diet And Down 13Lbs!

Yay!

A rogue 24 hour stomach bug and my super busy job keeping me from thinking about food all day has played a huge part in this, but I'm still feeling good about it. I'm starting to feel like I can truly handle life post-sleeve. I'm back in control of my eating, and I can live just fine without munching on junk all the time. I still need the sleeve to help keep me on course, but I'm ready to do my part, too.

One week from today I'll be fresh out of surgery, in the hospital, and ready to continue my new found reign over poor eating habits. Ready to get back to the gym. Ready to start caring about how I look again. Ready to be a participant in my family and not just an observer anymore.

Tomorrow I pre-register at the hospital, cough up the dough (self-pay), and have my consultation with the nutritionist to talk about post-op diet. This crap is getting real!

Congrats. My surgery is also next Monday. After the first week of pre op for me I am down 16 lbs but I have stalled for the last 3 days between 5 lbs

You're doing great. The stalls are your body rearranging things with the new space it has. It will start dropping again. Congrats on your surgery date ! :D
