A Little Thanksgiving Prayer...

Please don't let me go nuts on all the food that will be on the table Thanksgiving day. Please let me have the will power I need to stick to AT LEASE a tiny portion of everything.

I'm suppose to be on 2 Protein shakes and a protein based meal til Sun, then 2 days of liquids only before surgery on Nov 28th.

You can do it. Keep your eye on the prize. Some surgeons won't do the surgery if you don't lose the required weight while on the pre-op diet. I believe one person here had her surgery postponed because her liver was too fatty. The surgeon didn't feel comfortable doing the surgery and closed her back up.

So I had 1 plate of a little bit of everything yesterday and my scale this morning is telling me I gained 3 lbs!!! Wtf?!?!? So since my scale is telling me I didnt do so great yesterday I'm starting my liquid diet 5 days in advance instead of only 2. Today is day 1 and Im doing great so far.

I've read that some of you had to be on liquids 2 weeks in advance! So I figured 5 days isn't bad.

I had 1.5 slices of turkey and a 1/2 cup of mac and cheese. No desserts. Well, I did have some popcorn later at the movies...
