YES!!!! I am the same way. I can't wait until i have my sugery (dec. 27th)

I want the surgery done yesterday. As far as dieting no i haven't tried any yet since i decided to have the surgery but i am think of going on slim fast, but then i think of all the diets i have done before and how hard and useless they were.

Yup, I am so sick of waiting. I am afraid that by the time I get surgery I won't be able to wear the clothes I have now. I am really stressed waiting. I'm not waiting for approval. I have to wait until I have enough $$ to pay for the surgery. I should have the rest of the $$ by some time in January. If I could I would borrow the rest of the $$ and pay it back when I get the rest of the $$.

I don't want to diet now b/c I know that I won't stick with it until January. My doctor wants me to lose 20-30 lbs before surgery. All I can say is I will try. I know if I did lose something it would help.

It took me a year to be approved with my carrier. During that time I lost about 30 lbs, but it had started to come back on toward the end. You're not alone, and it's never a bad idea to start taking better care of oneself. Good luck!

How long has it been since you began.

You've made the decision to make a huge change that doesnt require surgery. Start now. Diet and exercise before and after the band. This was my decision when I had this done. Ive been there ever since. my weight comes off very slow but I had a problem with diet. Liqid calories. I am very pleased though.

I couldnt have asked for a better team than Dr Fromm. The absolute best at weight management here in Dalton. Tell them I said that. If you have specific questions message me here. I only took about 90-120 days from beginning to end.

:faint: I apreciate you telling me and I really haven't been waiting very long, About 4 months so far I think I'm just a very impatient person haha. I'm really glad that you had a good experience with Dr. Fromm I was going to be going with Dr. Ponce but he wasn't in my network I'm having my surgery at Memorial and I'm seeing Dr. Fromm at the office in Chattanooga TN he seems to be very nice but that all I pretty much knew about him. Other than a few other people I had talked to at the office. I'm guessing if I had to guess that my surgery will probably be sometime in late November or early December not really sure just yet. I have my eval last week and that seems to be all that was left for my insurance so I'm very hopeful!!:cry till then patience, and try not to gain to much weight..:hungry:
