If its made with actual cream it has a lot of fat so read the labels. My nut said no to any cream Soups made with cream. Some "cream of" soups dont have any cream though, its just in reference to texture.

I had cream of something (can't remember which) and it was so heavy in my stomach. I was in pain for hours.

if you do the soup, run it through a strainer first. that way, you don't accidentally get the actual chicken. too soon for that.

i rotated between cream of chicken and potato soup (both strained) for my full liquid diet dinners.
