Why No Babies? :(
Remind yourself that its much easier to get pregnant without the extra weight. Site plus is when you do start trying it will be that much easier I do know someone who got pregnant 5 months after surgery. It was an oops baby but she carried to term and the baby was healthy. She continued to watch her diet while pregnant.

Protein Bars?
I have a protein bar for breakfast every morning. I also eat raw fruit as a snack and raw veggies. I've had no issues all on my allowed list and I'm just shy of 2 months out.

5 Weeks Out And Had 5 Almonds... So Good.
My nut and dr approved nuts of all kinds after 6 weeks. They are a great source of protein. As long as you chewed really well you will be fine.

Help! Please.
Only clear liquids the day before surgery. I was 316. I don't know what he does with everyone else I never asked. My liver was/is ideal size and "texture". My dr said I was in his top 5 of easiest surgeries he's ever done. I was/am over weight but never had any health issues from my weight

That Moment When.....
I look at my plate and realize for the first thanksgiving in my life I won't be able to finish the small amount or go for seconds. I was able to have a bite of everything I like and was done. It feels good to walk away but what a serious moment of reality that this is a whole new life!!

- What Does Goal Look Like For You?
I'm wanting a size 10. It's less about the number on the scale and more about size. I'm tall with larger hips and breasts (will be large with weight loss since they were big in my you get years).- I'm curious for the different ages on here
I'm 35- Sex?
Came home thurs and had sex Friday. I was on top so no pushing in my incisions- Cereal?
Cereal is allowed in my diet. I don't have it often and typically since my lunch and dinner are seriously protein filled I don't concern myself too much with that part. I've lost 50 lbs in 7 weeks and ive not avoided much of what others do. I think it's all up to your dr, nut and your body- How Far Out Before You Can Eat A Little Of Anything?
I'm 7 weeks but have been eating regular food as of 6 weeks. Although I started trying things a week before that. I've tried almost everything and have had no issues at all. But my surgery and recovery have been very Uneventful. I've lost 50 lbs as of today so clearly I'm not affecting my lose- What Are You Eating Tomorrow?
I'll be eating a little of everything. Im 7 weeks out on regular foods an have had no issues with anything at all- Need To Bite

- To Count Or Not To Count
I don't count. I know what I'm eating and know I'm not going over 1000 cal a day.- Doing It All Wrong....
Or so Im told by friends who have been sleeved recently. Well not so much "wrong". Just not by the book. I am 7 weeks out tomorrow and as of this morning I'm down 49 lbs. stats: 5'9, start weight 316. Let me explain why then keep complaining to me. I'm hoping I'm not alone. I can eat ANYTHING. I've had no issues with any meats or veggies. No problems at all. Never have gas and never did, never got sick or had pain. I was pretty convinced my dr just looked around and didn't actual take any of my stomach. My typical day is an egg on half a slice of toast, lunch is whatever's around and dinner can be whatever. I do follow the Protein first everything else second rule. But I also don't take 30 minutes to eat anything. I eat at a normal pace. I drink about 15 min after instead of 30. I have some sort of sugar daily as I am hypoglycemic and I don't exercise as much as I should because I have fibromyalgia. (though I try to at least do the stationary bike at home each night). Oh and to add at 7 weeks out I can eat between 1/4-1/2 a cup of anything. So I'm wondering is anyone else like this? I swear I'm going to ask my dr for an X-ray of my stomach to make sure it's smaller lol. Thanks- What Am I Doing Wrong? Am Depressed!
Welcome. I had no pre op diet either, not all doctors do that. I did have Protein shakes the first week only. Once I switched to puréed and then real food I was and am able to get my protein with out the shakes. (thank god because I hated them). I think your surgeon jumped the gun a bit with no instructions for post op. although I had no pre op diet I was set up before hand on what to expect and what to do. I'd call your dr and tell him all of this. If he brushes you off find another one. Or find a Nut near you and have him/her advise you. Good luck- Boobs & Such...
I just went and got fitted for one. I have them custom made because my cup size is a FF. my band went down but the boobs are exactly the same. I'm 7 weeks tomorrow. I had no choice the band went from a 46 to a 42 and it was getting way to big. I'm going to hold off for the next one as long as possible. My girl made my new one slightly snug and added 2 extra rows of hooks. This way I can keep this one longer. I wish I could wear a sports bra but these babies just won't fit in there. I'd look like I'm smuggling twins or something.- Where Is Everyone From?
NY- Feeling Great... Before And After
Great job. You look great!- 3.5 Months Out And 50+ Lbs Down. Now, I Freeze
I find myself getting cold much easier and much more too. I'm only 7 weeks out and down 47 lbs and I'm pretty sure I'm going to freeze next winter lol. My mom said she's buying me a heating blanket for Christmas because she tired of me saying how cold I am every time we talk.- When Did Your Doctor Say You Could..... And When Did You?
