Hey Nov 14th sleevers I am at the hospital now waiting I am scheduled for 3...but I had to be here at 12...good luck, and I pray that we all have success and a speedy recovery...xoxo

Reporting in after surgery.... So far, so good. I did have a rough hour around 9pm when the anesthesia wore off. Had some terrible nausea and a headache. Feeling better now though, just thirsty. A little bit of abdominal pain, but very tolerable. Looking forward to my swallow test tomorrow and having some clear liquids! I hope everyone else's procedures went well today!

Less than 24 hours out from surgery - I'm feeling good, just a little low on energy and my tummy is feeling pretty tender - but I would say its uncomfortable, not painful.

Dr. said I may be able to go home today. I haven't tried drinking anything besides ice chips so hoping that goes well.

Hope everyone else is doing good!

2 days post op - heading home in an hour. Feeling great - gained 5 pounds since surgery because of all the fluids...trying not to stress.

Still in the hospital more painful than i expected dr even fixed a haital hernia i didn't know i had nausea every now n then n i still have the tube in when my dr comes to see me he's pulling it out OUCH not anticipating that... Well

I'm home. I didn't have such an easy time. He first two days I was in a lot of pain, and very nauseous. I did have several moments of 'why did i do this to myself?' My nurses were amazing though. I stayed in recovery the first night and didn't get moved to a room until the second day. Feeling much better today. Still in pain, but no no nausea! For all you people that were able to get right up I applaud you! I couldn't really walk around until today the pain was more intense when I stood. It's slowly getting better and better though! I know this will all be worth it soon!

I'm at the hotel and doing well. My nausea was horrible for the first 2 days by now I'm taking nexxium and its gone. Thank God!!! I'm up walking and sipping that about all for now. Dr Garcia and the staff at ready 4a change were awesome and amazing. I'm so happy i did this.

I'm home now and feeling pretty good. Tolerating full liquids well, no nausea, just some gas. So glad to be home!

I got home today, so 3 nights in hospital. Boy oh boy, I didn't get it easy either. I was so nauseous day of surgery, and still fairly out of it the following day. But I've been walking as much as I could - stalking the wards at midnight. Helped with the gas pain, which I had around my diaphram and under my ribs. Once it moved up into my shoulders, heat pads were good. Today I thought I'd have a try at yogurt - 2 licks of the teaspoon and I was done. Weird! But 4kg (8.8 lb) down in 4 days. Now to concentrate on water/protein I guess.

My nausea was horrible!!!! I totally understand....I'm doing better day by day....best wishes for you

Got home on Thursday afternoon. VERY painful recovery with all the gas. I got up and walked as soon as I got to my room . Every time they gave me morphine I got nauseous . I'm doing much better now. The first night home was rough sleeping but I got a full nights sleep last night. Just trying to make sure I keep getting my fluids in. I can't wait till I have a solid BM. Good luck everyone !!!!

I got home yesterday. Surgery was good and my pain has been relatively low. It's just sore. I was so nauseous after my swallow test Thursday. I didn't want to go home. Happy I am home now. Had a full nights worth of sleep in my bed propped up with pillows! Still have lots of gas. It's annoying but not very painful. Hope everyone is doing well!!!

My incisions were sealed up with dissolving stitches and surgical glue. Anyone else have that? Had no drain. Was happy about that!
