  1. As much as I am relieved by this revelation, thats crappy! I hate TV and how everything is fake!
  2. LOL! I don't understand how he hasn't died from all that grease! He has put on some pounds though.
  3. Thanks!!! Thank you so much for the encouragement Kathy!!!! I cannot wait!!
  4. I met my surgeon for the first time today. He was very nice and answered any question I asked. He was so happy that I have lost almost 40 lbs already and the fact that I lost 180lbs a few years ago (even though I gained it back, it shows my willpower). My surgery date is 11/14/12!!! He believes my sleeve can help me get down to 200lbs and the rest is up to me. He reminded me my sleeve is a tool and it is up to me to use it properly. I am SOOOOOOOO excited. I have an upper endoscopy on 10/18... yuck! Hate them! Thanks for "listening" to me gush... I am so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Hate them! Bought one of each flavor and thought they were terrible. Tasted like milk and fruit.
  6. WOAH! You look great! Such a difference! You should be so proud of yourself and MORE confident, because you sure look beautiful.
  7. Have you seen your dietician or surgeon about this? I haven't had my surgery yet, but I know I am required to go back and see them frequently. I would check with them.
  8. I love throwing meyer lemons in my water! So refreshing!
  9. I have the same problem. Been going for about a year-ish. I haven't had mine in about 100 days now. My GYN says it is my weight too and is afraid to put me back on birth control because of my weight. What is the most annoying is that everytime I mention it they make me get a HCG bloodtest to make sure I am not pregnant. I know I am not pregnant and REFUSE to continue paying $80 for that darn blood test. I sure hope the surgery helps us. I know when I was lighter my period was very regular. I can't believe I miss getting my period. (I never have cramps so it's really not bad)
  10. ^ like Nate said above... if you fall off, just get back up again!
  11. Wow, you look amazing! Keep up the excellent work! You can do it!!!!!!
  12. I am going to one at my grandmother's. We have had them all summer and I stuck to my pre-op diet. I brought my own veggies to grill, chicken breast and kale chips to replace what they were eating! I love the kale chips more than potato chips so no temptation there!
  13. I know this sounds odd... but I WANT that to happen to me. I think it would be great to not be able to eat that kind of stuff.. its not good for you anywho!
  14. WOOHOO!!! Congrats to both you and your wife! Excellent!
  15. I did not have my surgery yet... but I plan on having a nice meal before I start the liquid diet. I know I won't feel guilty, because I still plan on eating a fraction of what I used to eat. I want to have a cheese burger from mcdonalds and a small fry. Way less calories than the 2 double cheeseburgers and a large fry that I used to eat!!
  16. Veggies to grill! Grilled asparagus, yum!!
  17. Wow, what a difference!! You look great!
