Well, i scheduled my surger for January 14, 2013. I was hoping to have it before the end of the year but it didn't work out that way But at least I have a bit more time to prepare! even so, it feels like it's FOREVER away! I'm happy to have a date nailed down though! YAY!!!

well, they received my case on the 23rd and it was approved on the 25th but I didn't call to find out if I was actually approved or not until around the first of November because I was terrified of rejection! Turns out I had nothing to worry about! funny part was, I got my approval letter in the mail the next day. Lol. BCBS told me to give them two weeks, but it only took two days! Best of luck to you!

Congrats to you! I just rec'd approval from insurance yesterday; will be connecting with the Nurse at my clinic on Monday (11/12) to schedule a surgery date in December, 2012!! Took 24 hours from the time the clinic submitted the request to hearing back on the approval!
