Sore throat related to banding?

Okay, so this may sound really dumb but I woke up this morning with a sore throat no coughing is this related to the banding? I havent been around anyone with a cold but I have just been having popsicles today since my throat is sore. Any thoughts on this?

Hi Magnolia -

Unless your restriction is too tight, it is unlikely that the band is causing your sore throat, unless you got something stuck.

I woke up with a sore throat on Firday morning...now I have a full fledged cold. I was not around anyone who was sick either. There is a summertime flu and cold going around now.

Hi La Madam and Donali,

Thanks for the response. I guess I had a knee-jerk reaction what I have is the full fledged flu with all the symptoms I am being very careful in trying not to cough too much because of the port. I am disappointed my weight loss stopped it is the same as last week but I haven't been able to do the treadmill since I got sick....any suggestions?:sick
