I just had my surgery oct 15 2012 and I am still on liquids. I have not had a bowel movement since the day before my surgery. My stomach hurts like crazy, everybody is telling me to gas but that is not happening frequently either. I think I might have gas four times since my surgery. When does things go back to normal and how long does it take to have your first poop?. (Sorry tmi)

I also Had my Surgery on Oct 15 , I was able to go at the 4th day it wasnt actually soft and thereafter I have Gone also but very very soft watery stool ... Try drinking enough water u need to keep ur self hydrated and will also help u.. Have a frd who developed kidney stones because not enough water intake, and thats crucial.
