I have been at a stand still for over 5 months. I am scared my body won't lose anymore. I am not at my goal weight I still exercise daily, I have not gained any weight but have not dropped any. I tried the liquid diet for 3days to put my body in shock I lost a pound but then the next week I was right back at my stall weight. What can I do to get my body a jump start. I want to lose 15 more pds? I am also coming up on my year anniversary I wanted to be my goal weight by then!!!!

Hello, you are not alone here, this is we're you will have a lot of support. We have all had a loved one past before and it is hard as crap especially when you are going threw stuff your self. So in saying all that, be strong stay focused on the positive and know that your grandfather and God knew what was best. I do not know him but he sounds like he was a good man who lived a great life,being married to your grandmother that long means he adored her and that is something special. I wish you and your family the best and will keep you in my prayers. And always remember this when my grandmother got sick with cancer and on her death bed, I wanted to sit on her lap too,well me being a big girl then picked her up and put her on my lap and held her tight. She had lost a lot of weight and I held her until she feel asleep. I love my grandma too she past valentines day last year. So hold your grandmother like you never held her before in your lap this time. The prayers going out to you and your family.

Hello, I am 3 1/2 week post op and still have this problem. But girl it's not killing you, you made a great decision this is just a little bump in the road it will pass. Congratulations on your surgery. And just take it easy drink slow and massage your throat when you feel like a burp is coming and it will pass. Stay positive and this to shell pass

Yes it is a lack of Protein, My Dr said you have to consume at least 30 to 60 grams of protein a day to not have hair lose. I have been blessed to not have any hair loss because I do a lot of protein like shakes, chicken pureed of course. Don't worry not everybody has hair loss but try to get as much protein in as you can. A lack of food oh know we can't eat alot any way. It's just what you eat. I hope this help

Hello, I am a Hairstylist for 14 years and just got sleeved Oct 15/2012. What you need to do is Protein,Protein, protein. If you can not do the protein then you can go buy these Vitamins called hair skin and nails tablets. They are great,also Biotin tablets alone are good too for hair loss. But a lot of people loose there hair after this surgery because of the lack of protein in the body. You will not loose all your hair but you will have some heavy shedding. That will go away in time. But if you want to go to your beautician have here to give you a protein or keratin treatment it ill stop the hair loss until you get the tablets or more protein. I hope this helped?

Hello all I was sleeved oct 15th. I am feeling pretty good down 25 pds and can't wait for more to come off. It's been tough keeping any puréed down but I am trying my best. I am trying to keep drinking water and protein but I get full to quick I can't keep a lot down. Mashed potatoes is my BFF. It's the only thing I can keep down. I also had a few bad days throwing up hurts. But I am ready to overcome this journey and be back to normal. And with God and my supporters I will do it.

I also was sleeved on Oct 15' I had the same pain you are talking about. After my first week it went away and I also just have itching around the sites. It will get better and I hope all is well with your ct scan that stuff they have you drink is nasty. But I will keep you in my prayers.

Hello, I am starving too. I had my surgery oct 15th and I am so hungry. Only thing I do is eat sugar free Jello,chicken noodle Soup with out the noodles,vegetable sop no meat,and drink Water and Protein shakes. My family still has to eat so it is so tempting to eat. I know how you feel so tried all soft food, baby food like apple sauce,that's all I could do. But I hear it will get better I hope so for our sake. Good Luck

I am drinking a lot of fluids and my Dr has me on stole softeners too. But nothing is going down. Lol I might need to drink some hot tea? Because water,apple juice,cranberry juice,skim milk is not working.

Hello,, I have learned in life that you have to make your self happy first and everyone else is second. I have friends who husbands told them the same thing. My friends told them I am making this decision for me my health and to make ma happy. That is something he should want for you any way. Just stand strong and know you are making the best decision of your life. Thank God everyday and be proud of who you are.????
