Plateau- What's Your Longest?

I had surgery almost 7 weeks ago and I lost 20 the first month- awesome BUT I haven't lost a pound for the last two and a half weeks! How long am I going to plateau? I have been eating 800-1000 calories today and my protein has been good, workouts have been good. Just wish I knew how long I am going to hang out at the same weight. I didn't think I would plateau for this long. :(

Ive been stalled 6.5weeks now. The longest stall I am aware of was 4 months.

Damn plateaus, suck @$$ I was stalled for 3 weeks at one point. I am now under my goal weight at 123 pounds. I do not think I will lose any more at this point but only maintain.

Right!? I mean WTF! LOL . That is pretty awesome you are under your goal weight- that gives me hope!

oddly enough, if you eat a little more the stall will pass. Your body gets use to the amount of calories you put in it. Try eating a little more for a couple of days

Thanks- I'll give that a try!

Longest one was 3 weeks in length at 5 weeks. The others have been between 3-5 days since then. They usually break on their own, but I do make sure to keep the plan going through them.

Thanks for your feedback. Do you feel like you do anything different when you are plateauing? I.E. more calories, less calories, more or less exercise? Just curious.

I had a three week stall that started at week 3.

Thanks for sharing! How the hell did you get myfitnesspal on here? I am addicted to myfitnesspal. What an amazing tool!!!

I created the ticker via the MFP website - click the Apps tab and then click Tickers. After you create your ticker, copy the code (I can't remember if it is the BBcode or HTML code. Then pop back to VST. Click on your profile, select Edit Profile, and then click Signature. Paste the code. :)

If your signature just displays the code after you save the changes, try the other type of code. If it STILL just displays the code, let me know. Ican't remember if I just used the image URL and added the image of the ticker via the Image button.

But on phones, which many of us use, we can't see tickers.

If you're on an iPhone, just tap the post and you can see the posters ticker. Doesn't work on android phones though.

Really? I'm in iPhone and can't see it. I can click the photo and go to an abbreviated profile, but no ticker. What am I doing wrong?
