How Long Does Our Sleeve Take To Heal?

I'm wondering if at a certain time I can stop being worried about a leak, or is it always a concern?

I was sleeved last Thurs. 10/11/12-I've been in clear and see my surgeon tomorrow. I'm hoping I can go to stage 2 liquids. All my nut. paperwork has a vague (2-4 week) duration noted for each stage. I guess just as each patient is different, each surgeon's diet is different. As long as our health is the primary concern, I can do what he says. I can't imagine having to have surgery again to repair a leak 6 weeks from now! OMG -nightmare!

Doxie- I'm sorry about your setback. Fortunately, my gallbladder was out before I had my sleeve. I did recover quickly from that surgery. Hopefully, you will too! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

I am almost 3 wks post op,I feel like I might of pulled a muscle or irritated my Incision ,maybe from over doing it ,letting etc ,has this happened to anyone else

I suppose every surgeon will give you a different answer so I can only speak from my experience. My surgeon told me I was all healed at 6 weeks.
