Most people think that the pill makes you gain weight, in fact due to hormonal changes it can either cause you to eat more of LESS. With the band you will eat less, you will lose bc pill or not.

Well guys...I gained the week after surgery. :ermm I did do a pre-op diet though and lost 45 pounds in 14 days. At the time of my first fill 8 weeks later, I had gained back 10. :phanvan I have lost that 10 and a little more. It's coming off slowly, but this time of year I usually gain weight quickly, so I can't complain.:biggrin1:

I lost 9.5 lbs the first week....nice to see the drop on the scale but I know that this rate of loss is not maintainable. However, my clothes are fitting much better and looser which means more!

I lost 9 lbs the first week, and this week (my 2nd) I'm up 1 lb today, though official weigh in day is Saturday. It's a bit frustrating, but this board has helped me deal with it realizing this happens to a lot of people. I do feel better already, though!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
