Probably a dumb question but I have to force myself to drink them:/

Why then are you putting in bananas if you don't like them?

How far out from surgery are you?

The real answer lies with your surgeon and what he/she does or does not allow during the stages of your diet. Some doctors allow bananas earlier than others. Mine absolutely did not allow them for the first 3-4 months due to their high sugar content. The basic premise behind the first months after surgery is to be high-lean-protein and low-non-refined carbs. Granted, banana is not as bad as white sugar, but for a fruit -- it's one of the highest next to pineapple in sugar.

What kind of Protein Drink are you using? Have you tried different kinds and brands to see what you like more than others?

Get some banana-flavored Protein Powder to mix with your other Protein drink flavors:http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2549705

I mix the more expensive version of that protein with chocolate protein. It improves the taste, increases the variety anyway.
