2.5 Weeks Out And Can't Eat More Than Three Bites Is This Normal?

Hi Everyone. I am a little over 2 1/2 weeks out from my surgery and on the puree stage. I can only eat about 3 baby spoonfulls of anything and I am full. Even Soup. I can drink my Protein shakes but it takes about an hour to get down 8 oz. Is this normal?

Thanks,

Yep, that's perfectly normal. Your stomach is still pretty swolen from the surgery. You will be able to eat more soon.. and it will keep getting better as you continue to heal.

Thanks Junior Guru! Congratulations on your loss. you are doing awesome! I hope I do that well.

Thanks :) I am sure you will. Keep your protien your primary focus, drink all of your water and avoid sugary drinks and you'll do fine.

yes it is normal. I have 4oz of shake for breakfast then 4oz for a snack. I also am drinking as much water as I can between my protein consumption. I think we are on our way to success!
