10 Days After Surgery And My Stomach Feels Were Heavy And My Right Side Aches When I Lay Down.

I suppose this goes away after a while but does anyone know when? I am also very week today! Is this normal?

OK, thank you.

I couldn't lay down on my side until about 1.5 weeks after. I am almost 3 weeks out & was just able to (carefully) sleep on my stomach comfortably last night.

That is great to know. Thanks so much.

I couldn't even lay on any side for 2 weeks. I slept propped up on pillows. I am now 3 weeks out and can sleep on my side, but rolling over is still a little sore feeling.

I'm 7 weeks and can finally sleep on my left side without the weird "heavy" feeling. Before I always put a pillow under left side to be comfortable but first few weeks couldn't sleep any other way but on my back...it will get better :)

It took me weeks until I could lay on my side. It felt like my stomach was hanging. Tucking a pillow under it helped a bit and over time it got better so I don't need to even do that anymore.
