  2. Thank you for your comments. I will try your suggestions.
  3. I am 4 months post-op and I was doing awesome up to the 3 month point....I lost 62 lbs...but have not lost another pound in the last month. I know stalls happen but I am very annoyed right now and needed to vent. Not to mention I am really losing alot of hair. I also heard this was normal but I am really starting to get concerned about the amount I lose each morning. I guess it's a good thing I had alot to begin with because if I didn't I think I would be bald by now! I am really not complaining because I really do love my new 'life style' and I feel great but I have another 85 more pounds to go and I don't want to waste any time getting there and a stall for 4 weeks is really annoying. Anyone else stall around the 3-4 month mark and are you losing alot of hair?
  4. It does get better, I am also 3.5 moths out and I am down 62 lbs. and feeling great. I felt the exact same way you did and asked myself what have I done. It is totally a whole new life and you will enjoy it soon.

  7. I totally agreed with the above remarks. Just because you have the sleeve you don't magically lose weight. You still have to follow the rules....if you don't you can stop the weight loss very easily. It was the best decision I have ever made and it has beeb nine weeks for me! Good luck.
  8. I am nine weeks post op and have never had this happen. I sounds horrible and I am so fortunate it has not happened to me! Good luck in the future!

  12. I stayed there also but my doctor was Dr. Lopez. I never even thought to take pics. I never told anyone at home where I was going so I guess I thought I couldn.t come back with pictures as evidence. Now everyone knows and I wish I had pics. All the best and good luck.
  13. OMG you are doing awesome. You are down 106 lbs. and you don't exercise or get your water in. I wish I was like that. I am happy with my success to date but to think that you are only 3 months a head of me and you are down that much is truly amazing! Congrats and keep up the great work....you are really doing something right!
  14. That is so awesome! I love hearing success stories and can't wait to be where you are. You are beautiful! All the best in the future.

  17. Hi, I did go to Tijuana, Mexico on Sept. 13/12 to get sleeved by Dr. Lopez. My husband cam with me. We were picked up the San Diego Airport by the driver for 'A Lighter Me" who drove us into Tijuana. It was a great experience. I could not have asked for any better medical treatment then I received. I stayed in the hospital for 2 days and then in the hotel for another 2 days and on day 6 travelled 11 hours by plan to get back home to Canada. Everything went exactly as it should have and I never looked back. I don't know who your Doctor is but mine was awesome. Do exactly what they say and everything should go fine. Take care and good luck.
  18. Wow, that is awesome. I am 2 months out and lost 43 lbs. and I am starting to feel great too. Keep up the great work.
  19. I have never had that happen to me. I don't eat extremely slow but I do try to chew about 20 times before taking another bite. My daily intake was about the same as Lynda's at 3 weeks. I hope you can get your intake down so you won't continue to get sick. Good luck.

  22. Well by looking at your ticker youv'e lost 63 lbs in 7 weeks.....I don't think you are doing any wrong. I am 8 weeks post op and have lost 43 lbs. and I thought that was good. I sucks that you can't eat though. I have tried just about everything by now and I haven't had a problem yet with anything. Did you have food problems before your surgery? I hope you are able to start eating soon and I wish I had some words of wisdom to help you out. I certainly have no problem getting my calories in. Take care and the best of luck.

  25. I think I will always have to be on a diet or always have to watch what I eat. I think if I ate what I wanted I would gain weight.
  26. That's great....and you are right, it is not easy even though we are sleeved. I think some people think that because we have been sleeved the weight just falls off. Well we all know that is not true. We still have to work hard and eat properly in order the lose the weight...just like everyone else. The only difference is our stomachs are smaller.
  27. I was sleeved on Sept. 13. Starting weight 281 couple of weeks as well. I know we all wish it would come off faster but we are all doing so well and we just need to be patient because we are all different.
