Designer Whey Chocolate W/ Banana

Recommended Posts

Like most everyone else, I've struggled with finding a Protein shake that I can tolerate. Well, I finally found one that I really like. And the plus is that it is really simple so I can easily make it right before leaving for work and drink it on my drive in.

Its the Designer whey chocolate Protein powder. I use one full scoop of powder, 1 cup of Skim Plus milk (has more Protein than regular milk), and half a banana. I mix it all together with my Magic Bullet blender then serve it over ice. IMO, the Protein shakes are always better the colder they are.

Nutritional info:

30g protein

263 calories

33g carbs

2g fat

Just thought I would share for anyone else is struggling to find one they like. Just another option!

Yes absolutely! I did find Muscle Milk really tasty, but my nut said it's not the right blend of fat to Protein. So I switched to Light Muscle Milk knowing that it still wasn't quite what the nut wanted. Then I had the added trouble of having terrible churning in my stomach whenever I had any of the light version of that protein. I'm back to square one again.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
