I hate that word -- "Obese." It's hung on me with extra identifiers like "Super-morbidly"

The closer I get to goal, the slower the weight loss, but it's still going down. The inches are too. I just moved solidly into 10s and can wear some 8s. I am now smaller than my very fit husband who wears a 32. I started out as a tight size 22W

I should look at some before pics, but they are hard to find since I used to duck out of photos.

How awesome for you! I too have always hated that word and especially since some people in my family pronounce it as O- Beast which makes it sound worse even before we add on morbidly or super morbidly. Definitely check out the pics of the old you and note the changes for motivation to keep it moving... Maybe even post them. Keep up the good work:)

I'm 8 months out. I am very short so it's only 25 or so pounds to go to hit "normal" weight.

My surgeon set 110 as my goal. I set it 130 which is a respectable 24 BMI. I asked him if he really expects me to wear a size 14 in children's clothing rather than a size 4.
