Has anyone loss their sense of smell. If so did it come back.

I am having the opposite issue. I feel like I can smell alot more than I used to be able to. Good luck to you. I wonder if these smell issuers go away...?

Number 1- No, but i hear anesthesia can have various weird effects for a while that wear off. Not sure about the smell thing though.

Number 2- Have you used ANY type of nasal medication, whether "natural" or otherwise?

I have lost my smell twice over the years, and the first time it was from using that spray zinc stuff-- what's it called-- ZICAM!! That's it. Killed my sense of smell for about 2 years. It happened again with a decongestant spray, but for a shorter time.

Just putting that out there....

I'm also having more of an opposite issue. Some things (foods in particular) smell awful to me now. I think it's related to my lack of appetite....my body's reaction to not wanting food put into it. Makes it challenging to eat out, where you have no control over the smells around you.
