I am now about 48 hours out. I am to arrive at the hospital 9 AM on Monday. I have a a lot of other stuff on my plate that has me stressed out. I am on my way to work to finish up some things that I was unable to complete. I have my last pre-surgery massage today, so I hoping that helps me to relax. The nerves are setting in. I let me 6 year old sleep in her sleeping bag next to our bed last night. I am praying for a relatively drama free recovery. All I can think about is her and my husband.

Starting my pre-op on Monday. Must do liquid diet for 10 days. I can't believe it is almost here. I am a band to sleeve revision and nervous my sleeve won't be done due to scar tissue. My Doc (Alvarez) won't do the revision if too much scar tissue in one surgery, will have to wait 5 months :( but I want what is best for me :D. We are going to the Melting Pot tonight for my last meal ^_^. Best of luck to all my 10/11/12 sleeve sisters! WE ROCK! :P

Hang in there. We are having surgery at the same time. I think the massage is a great idea. Just keep reminding yourself that you are doing this so you can be a healthier happier you which can only make a happier family. Try to find that place of peace inside and take a few minutes to hang out there today. You have made it through the torture known as the liquid pre op diet. Don't let work stress you too much. I hope you can have a relaxing weekend with your family. That's what I plan on doing, but a massage sounds great.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
