okay I went and got some of that aloe vera juice, now please someone tell me how to take it and what is it all about?

I had the pb's this morning and boy almost died, (not really) but feel really bad from that boiled egg getting stuck, it lasted about 2 hours and finally I made myself throw it up.

Hi carol, I feel your pain. I've been there. Just sip the aloe...a few sips every hour or so for the next 24 hours (except when you are sleeping...of course) Stay on liquids ONLY for a minimum of 24-48 hours!! Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks, I am having so much trouble lately I really have given it some serious thought to have it removed. I am really not losing any weight, not enough to go through this #$^%# anyway and not being able to eat much of anything is driving me crazy. I will sip on the juice and see what comes of it.

Thanks again

Carol, Hang in there. The scale will move eventually. Stay on liquids, don't even try mushies until it's been at least 24 hours or more. If you have another PB you have to start this process all over again. Trust me you will loosen up if you give yourself some time to heal your esophogus. I also reccomend getting a 14-day supply of Prilosec OTC. That, along with the aloe, helps alot. Don't get it removed. If you need a complete unfill to get through this trying time you would be better off than removing it completely. Are you working out and drinking enough Water? If you are not eating much you should be losing if you are doing those other two things. If not, I would get my blood and thyroid checked.

I do have thyroid medication. I am so tired of this nonsense just to of lost 30 pounds. I want this to work so badly. Yes I do the treadclimber and since eating at night is my only time I do believe that can be an issue in remaining the same weight for 2 months. I know at night is the absolute worse time to eat.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
