I can't wait to NOT be asked if I'm pregnant when I'm NOT PREGNANT! And, I can't wait to NOT hear people tell me I don't look pregnant at all at 9 months when I AM PREGNANT! (I don't look any bigger since I am big enough already, the pregnancy just stays inside me I guess) GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

I can't wait to not avoid all if the sexy heels I always admire as I walk by the shoe dept. Can't wait to not have to shop plus sized. Can't wait to not have to keep checking my underarm flab to see the progress & if they still look like granny arms.

I can't wait to comfortably sit on the floor and play with my 3 yr old son and be able to get back up off the floor. I can't wait to be able to walk on stairs going up or down and not fear falling. I fall easy and hard.

To be able to fit a regular size towel around my body!

To not have to wear shorts over my bathing suit and make sure that towel is right at the edge of the pool so I can cover back up immediately!!

To be able to sit on my husbands lap without him Gasping for air!!

Update: I had my surgery on August 30, 2012. Somewhere on this forum, I posted that I wanted to be able to accept my husbands jacket when offered to me on a chilly night. This seemed like a silly thing to "want"...

I am happy to say, I can accept his jacket now - and it's BIG! I may be losing slower than others on this forum - but I couldn't be happier! I am almost 9 months out and down about 91 pounds. I went from a size 24 in plus size to a size 14 regular size! I can go into any store and find clothes that fit! I thank god that I had the courage to go through with this surgery - it has changed my life!

I can't wait to NOT make those not-so-delicate breath-holding, grunting sounds when I get up from sitting on the floor, or get out of bed, or bend down to pick up something from the floor...

I can't wait to not worry about sitting on a plastic chair at a picnic or get together and having it crash down on the floor with me on top of it.

I can't wait to be able to put on shoes, socks and pants without getting winded.

I can't wait to be able to stand for long periods of time without my knees and feet and lower back aching.

I can't wait to stop my cholesterol meds and cpap machine!!!

I wanna walk PAST Lane Bryant, not INTO Lane Bryant.

Also, I can't wait to show my side by side before and after photos :-)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
