I Will Share One...

I'll share one of my FAVORITE recipes.. (The only one I swear by..)

BUT I need you guys to respond to my Topic and help me out..

I'm 5 weeks out today.. having moderate pain from toast.. Maybe cause i'm eating too fast..

Tried the KFC bowl.. STRAIGHT horrible pain from the chicken..

So i've been stuck on soft foods..

However.. I got down Wawas Broccoli Cheddar Soup.. And 1/3-1/4 pieces of hoagies at a time..

Very Odd...

I do not eat seafood of any kind, so please no seafood recipes.. Including tuna.< /strong>

Okay my favorite recipe...

1- canned chicken (Prefer sams club 5 cans for 10)

1-2- packets of True Lime

1-Large toss of Garlic Rice Vinegar (Found at Walmart or Shoprite)

1-Tbsp mayo

Take the chicken, strain.. break up.. add mayo, lime, and then at your descretion add the vinegar..

I go around the container like 2-3 times..

It gets dry so the more the vinegar the better

GREAT ADDITION....

Just today I cut up a piece of sliced cheese..

and cut up two slices of Tomato and added 1/4-1/5 of the chicken on top ate it bite by bite..

SO DELICIOUS!!!

I want some more.. but no money to buy groceries.. :'(

Thank you all for your time, and GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS! <3

Wow, that seems a bit of an aggressive diet for 5 weeks out. At 5 weeks I was finishing up "blenderized" foods and moving into "soft foods." No chicken or meats or breads or whole or especially raw veggies or anything like that. That could be part of the problem. Your stomach may not be ready for that. Just putting that out there...

I second what Dooter said. I even progressed at what seem people said was too quickly and didn't dare eat bread until 3 months, I just had KFC for the first time two ***hts ago and it made me sick. -- that says "n i g h t s" but the new thing keeps bleeping it! ---

I think you need to slow down. At that point I was eating softer foods like: tuna, creamed Soups, canned chicken, cottage cheese, yogurts, scrambled eggs, and soft meats like pulled pork.

I'm actually doing very well with this recipe.. No pain at all.. And the taste makes me crave it.. Especially after adding the cheese n Tomato I'm laying in bed wanting to cry because I have no more chicken n I'm out of money. Ugh, idk what I'm going to eat tomorrow... I pushed away from the KFC.. This search on Google can help: tofu recipes ("low fat" OR "low calorie" OR healthful)

Also, you can puree tofu in the blender along with some splenda or equal + Water or milk + fruit or Protein powder - even green leafy vegetables, such as spinach!. Puree it on the highest speed (I have a VitaMix). Add a few ice cubes and puree them as well. You have a smoothee. You essentially turntofu into a liquid. This pureeing technique works with firm, medium, soft and silken textures of tofu. I do find that different brands of tofu have different flavors. My own personal favorite brand is Mori Nu. You can order cases of Mori Nu online. But other people might find other brands to be better. Tofu always has helped me lose weight in the past. I hope that this information is helpful.

I also find hummus to be excellent.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
