Super Nurses With Sleeves (Support Group)

  • Popular Post

Are you a nurse? I am starting a support group for nurses that are contemplating, undergoing or are now 'old pro's' with their sleeves!

By way of introduction, my name is Jana & I live in the DFW area and am currently undergoing the approval process. I have been a RN for 38 years--18 years in Surgery & 18 years in Case Management & as a Manager for a major health plan carrier.

So feel free to jump on board!

Hello! I just saw this thread and thought I'd fit right in! My name is Angie and I've been a nurse for 6 years! I work in a pediatric trauma center and am critical care. I had my sleeve on November 16th of this year! It's going good so far! I'm so excited to watch all of u thru your journey too! My end goal is to be healthy and able to ride roller coasters with my family! (Which my daughter mentions all the time now).......

"wondering how long I'll be out of work"

Hi,

My receptionist just had this in March of this year and she was out for a week. Of course she sits most of the time. I am not telling anyone I am having this (so can't take a bunch of time off) and I plan to take one week off. I too am an NP but do out patient psychiatry so I am not doing very physical stuff.

I have mine scheduled for January 10th so we will be on a similar path!
