  1. My back hurt for a good 2 to 3 weeks. I think it was a combo of surgery gases and the hospital bed. Leg pain not too much though. As long as your not having any edema and or redness/tenderness in your legs also.
  2. Nice to meet up guys! I was sleeved by Dr slayden in the st lukes group. And i agree......they really do prepare us well! I'm in that dreaded three weeks stall right now kinda frustrating
  3. I know this post is a little older but I live in belton and was sleeved November 16th of this year. How is everyone's progress going?!
  4. I don't live close but I was sleeved on November 16th and can be a buddy! It is a nerve racking process and major surgery. So it's completely normal to be a little freaked out. Heck......I cried when I said goodbye to my family when they were wheeling me to the OR. But I'm now 2.5 weeks out and know that I've made the best decision of my life!
  5. Hello! I just saw this thread and thought I'd fit right in! My name is Angie and I've been a nurse for 6 years! I work in a pediatric trauma center and am critical care. I had my sleeve on November 16th of this year! It's going good so far! I'm so excited to watch all of u thru your journey too! My end goal is to be healthy and able to ride roller coasters with my family! (Which my daughter mentions all the time now).......
  6. I'm on all the same vitamins and I hit my water goal x2 days. Maybe my body is catching up? I'm going to watch a bit longer and if no improvement then I'll call my doctor. Otherwise everything else looks good (good heart rate, moist mouth, peeing several times a day, etc)
  7. Hello everyone! I have a question for u guys. So I am 7 days post op and so far so good. Today I drank my 64oz water (with diluted crystal light) and my 3 protein drinks. I'm noticing that my urine is still dark yellow! Should I be drinking more?! Did anyone else have this problem too?! Please let me know what u think. (Ps....trying to get in MORE fluids will not be easy......64 is hard enough)
