Just wondering not planning on it but I think I wanna have a baby like 5or 6 years from now

I'm getting sleeved on Thursday, but I definitely plan on having more children. It is recommended you wait 12-18 months after surgery.

Since I am only 22 and have not had any children yet , this was a big concern for me . I asked my surgeon about it and he's said it's actually a lot safer for me and the baby than going through a pregnancy while obese or morbidly obese.Just have to wait a couple years , which is fine with me ! I'm in no rush , probably won't want to start having kids for at least a few more years.

My doc said to wait a year but there is a forum on the topic.

Being able to have kids and being able to breastfeed were a BIG deal for me. I spoke with several nutritionists and two physicians and my surgeon and they all agreed that pregnancy was going to be safer and more comfortable for me and the baby both after I'd lost the weight. Also, I will probably conceive quicker which is always nice

Oh, you might be interested to know that most people will not need to take anything more than a Multivitamin and a Calcium supplement when they are breastfeeding with a sleeve.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. i also just watched some YouTube videos of people with wls and pregnant. Everything was fine for them. Oh and I'm not worried about breast feeding I breast fed my child for 4 months and it drove me crazy she wouldn't take a bottle and I couldn't go back to work for 4 months so I won't be breast feeding another child I'm not up for that again

My surgeon did say that he recommends waiting 2 years until weight/body has stabilized before getting pregnant. Which is fine with me because I'm not planning on it anytime soon. Like you, I am glad to know that I will be able to have kids eventually.
