How Many Calories Are You Taking In?

My husband is 1week 2 days post op and he is taking in about 500 calories a day. He is getting in as much protein as he can in his food, protein shakes and protein smoothies.

Does this sound like he's on the right path???

I think at this point, my nut told me that calories are not important, but he should definitely focud on getting as much protein as possible and that's hard enough.
