  9. Hi my husband is 14 days post op and seems to be doing great he takes premium protein shake in the morning, protein fruit smoothie or muscle milk mid day, and home made soups with chicken veggies blended into soup n strained for dinner. Seems like he is taking in a decent amount of protein daily. keep up the good work everybody
  10. Congrats shelly, my husband is 12 days post op and feeling great, he too has that pulling feeling in his left incision and it only feels better when he wears the band around his stomach that was given to him at hospital, because it puts preasure on it. hopefully once that pain goes away he will be 100%...... Keep up the good work
  11. My husband is 1week 2 days post op and he is taking in about 500 calories a day. He is getting in as much protein as he can in his food, protein shakes and protein smoothies. Does this sound like he's on the right path???

Good luck and stay strong

  18. My husband is 6 days post op and just noticed his togue is white...... Does anybody else have this prob?
  19. If you're looking for a good protein shake, try Costco Premium ready to go shake you can get vanilla or chocolate they taste very good. my husband had the surgery 3 days ago, he did the pre op diet for 18 days and lost 30 lbs. if you dont like the store bought broth, make it at home. I make beef broth by boiling a pc of bone chuck steak bone in, add tomato and onion, salt n pepper n after meat is cooked add cilantro. Trust me its yummy try sf jello, low carb yogurts. This is the same diet he is doing now post op. He isnt hungry but he takes it for the protein he needs. I am trying to invent a new menu for my husband, I will do what ever I can to help him succeed in our new life!!! Good luck
  20. I forgot about the popsicles.....thank u
