Scoping Out Cute Clothes, Hairstyles, Etc.

Anyone else doing this?

I am about midway through the process of getting my sleeve and I've spent HOURS looking at the new styles for fall and winter! It's so exciting to picture myself happy and stylish and working the single-digit-sized clothes!

And don't get me started on hairstyles! I find that looking at websites for wigs (yes, WIGS!) gives me a lot of ideas for styles that might work for me once I set my inner skinny girl free!

Wheeee!

I do this. I pinn things on Pintrest. Styles I like and how I want to get my hair cut. I was going to get my hair done on birthday in June but I told my husband I wanted to wait and see how my face changes after surgery. I am like you can't wait to want to go try clothes on and feel good about how thing look and feel.

I'm also with y'all. Can't wait to be thin enough to wear boots over skinny jeans and look long and lean!

I'm already 4 months post op, and I always do this. I email myself pictures of hairstyles. I have downloaded apps for Macy's, gap, banana republic, Nordstrom, and express. I am always browsing the. And checking out new styles. I've gone down a few sizes, and I'm no longer in plus size clothes, I'm in a tight 16, off the rack non plus size (yeah). However I still want to wait until I get closer to goal to buy some rockin clothes. I'm just now talking my self out of buying a new pricey winter and fall coat, because next winter they prob won't fit me, so I've come to terms that I should just wear my old costs, that were to tight on me prior to my sleeve. But hey now that the coats fit properly they really do look new...

I lost a bunch of weight several years ago (of course, it's back with its whole family this time) and there was no shame in going to a "gently used" store. I bought clothes throughout my entire loss at one of these shops. I still have many of the items (like shift dresses and jeans that don't lose their style) and I can't wait to go closet shopping!

What are some favorite sites? Mine are Newport News, Forever 21, and NY & Company.

I am pre-op and have been refusing to buy anything new clothing until I am down sizes and can longer wear existing clothes. While dropping weight I plan on using Craig's list and thrift stores. Back when I was smaller I loved the store Express and plan on going back there. I would love to shop at H&M, forever 21, gap.

I found a great consignment shop near my home - this is how I'll purchase my clothing until I get the desired size I am most happy with. So far, even though i'm still buying 'fat clothes' I've spent $30 last weekened on 5 shirts and a cute Bracelet. All of the tops are either Lane Bryant, Ann Taylor and other designers that I would of never paid full price for, not at this size. I am so freaking excited knowing I find great deals on clothing and not worry about my budget.

My thinking - I'm probably going to be saving $100 or more a month from my old food budget - so I put 1/2 away for vacation and the other 1/2 i can buy clothes......yippee for me.

God, Aug 1 is not going to get here soon enough so I can get my surgery date......

I already picked out a hairstyle I want after I lose a lot of weight.

Every time I go to the mall I window shop and decide where I will be shopping when I'm close to goal. It's an outlet mall so it's not too pricey. I already told me husband that in a few months time he'll drop me off there with some money and pick me up hours later. Best day ever!!!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
