Hair!

Okay so I have an understanding that your hair falls out after surgery and I would like to know what are the best ways to prevent that? My hair falls out everyday as it is I have very thin hair and I'm afraid to be bold after surgery....Pls anyone any suggestions on good hair product or vitamins that rlly work?

I upd my protein and started taking biotin.. it's starting to fall out a little less now, and hopefully will continue to get better.

I lost a whole round chunk of hair the size of a hand on my head after pneumonia (two days in coma, five days in critical care unit). The resulting hair loss from surgery will probably be similar, called alopecia areata. A dermatologist will prescribe a steroid cream and may inject steroids into severely affected areas. The best thing is to eat healthy, keep vitamins up, boost your immune system pre- and post-op as much as possible and try to avoid any and all stress! 80% chance it will all grow back normally when you get healthier.

I get the injections,.take the vitamins, you know the quirks but I had very thin hair to begin with.so now I wear a wig. Lol if you look st ny pics all those are wigs. I love them!
