West Cost Menter Wanted.. Are You Sleeved?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

Looking for a sleever who is further along than I! This is not hard considering that I have yet to be sleeved! I am still enduring all the testing and meeting of insurance requirements.

You: Sleeved and in the process of weight loss, perhaps female, open, and easy to chat/talk/e-amil or text with.

A little about me: I am a Mom, wife and college student (almost done!). I am trying to decide if I will enter into my Masters or Doctoral program, but none the less I need to take some time to work on my health and well being! I have done a great deal of reading about the sleeve and I am thrilled to have this option afforded to me. I live in Oregon.

Until Then,

Sannah

Sannah,

I am 7 months post-op (December 13th), live in SoCal, spent 6 years in the St. Johns area of north Portland, and am available if you have questions. I'm a Mom, a school counselor, and a happy sleever. :-)

Hi there!!

I'm in California, was sleeved on April 24.

I'm a single Mom and Grandma, work fulltime( yep, Im a nurse)

This is the best thing I have ever done for myself and my kids!! I'm down 60 pounds and feel great. I've had zero complications.

Would love to chat and hopefully be able to provide lots of support and answer questions!!

Please feel free to PM me!!

Hello Nurse!!

Thank you for the reply!! :). I would like to send you a private message. I am currently on my iPhone and it's hard to type, especially with carpel tunnel. This afternoon I will message you from my computer!!

Thank you kindly for offering your support and time!! I feel thankful!

I hope your day is off to a good start!!

Hellonurse!

I am having some weird profile problems. I have the app on my iphone. I am just realizing this and I am not sure what to do. Both have the name Sannah, but different photos. I want to avoid any confusion.

Until Then,

Sannah

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
