Hi I'm New Here I Am 6 Post Sleeve Surgery

I just want to say its been very good for me in one month I lost 40lb very happy I am eating more stuff now and I haven't had any problem with food yet. I'm dying to drink soda and the only problem is that I can't drink water the way I want to just small sips and I hate it. I would like to know if I can have cake and some adult drinks because my B-day its the 24th of July and I would like to have some cake and drinks thanks. Oh and I'm 6 week sorry.

I'm 12 days post surgery. I was told no alcohol for a year. I don't know about cake though. It's a lot of sugar which could make you feel bad. Good luck and Happy Birthday!

Thank you very much I won't have any of them the last thing I want it's to be sick for my B-day lol

That's probably the best plan. Some doctors aren't as restrictive about the alcohol, but anything bubbly is bad. It's also generally pretty high in calories, and it can affect you pretty quickly because you can't really have a lot of food in your stomach to absorb it. One bite of cake would probably be fine except for the sugar rush, but if you have any sort of carb sensitivity (which a lot of people who need this surgery have), it's just going to make you want more more more and it's best to avoid it. Have a happy birthday, and enjoy all the non-food-and-drink things that are great about life! :)
