June Sleevers! Hows It Going?

Recommended Posts

Sleeved on 6/23/2012. As of this morning, I've lost 72 pounds from my highest weight, 58 pounds post-op. I feel like I'm losing slow. I exercise 5 - 6 days per week for 60 minutes. I never eat more than 800 cals a day, but usually it's about 500 - 600. Any suggestions on how I can speed up weight loss?

Hi June sleevers! I was sleeved on 6/25. I am down 56 pounds. I have issues eating now since I'm not hungry and it only takes a few bites to fill up. Kind of a drag and a bother but I love how skinny I am!

I'm only down 16kg :( (that's about 36pounds)

June 13 sleeve.

Can eat whatever I want, whenever I want. Booooo.

Doing crossfit 3x a week too (that's pretty intense for those that don't know what it is)

Starting weight 109kg, today 93kg. Slow loser!

I was sleeved 6/15 and I have lost 53 lbs since surgery and 76 total. I have been the same weight for almost 2 weeks. I hate stalling. My goal is to be down down to 200 by Christmas. I don't believe I will make it but I am going to try. If I keep stalling I will never get under 220. Thanks for all the encouragement I get reading your posts and say a pray I make my goal. I have been horrified this wouldn't work since I had the lapband first and it was a total failure!

My son's wedding is Dec 22 and I also wanted to be in Onederland but its coming off really slow! This was a big decision and I too felt that momentary fear. I am so thankful for everyone on this site, for their amazing encouragement and support. I couldn't have gone this far without ALL the help.

Surgery date was June 14th and I'm down 41 lbs. it was a revision surgery from lap band and I'm so so glad I revised. I look so much healthier at the same weight I looked sick with lap band. I don't even exercise and still the weight is coming off gradually. I can't believe I put my body through the crap of lap band for more than 3 years. I was 198 lbs the morning of surgery and 157 lbs this morning.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
