Got My Sample Pack Of Syntrax Nectar

Recommended Posts

A word of caution, after sleeve surgery, if you are like most.you are going have some changes to your taste likes and dislikes and tolerance to different temps . I would suggest lots of sample sizes and sample again after surgery before ordering large amounts of any thing.

That is EXACTLY how I was planning on doing it. Thanks for the tip though.

I just tried the nectar in strawberry sorbet. Pretty decent. I mixed it with 10 ounces fat free milk. My sleeve is July 13th!!

I just ordered some Syntrax Nectar samples too. I have the Unjury and about time samples, just haven't worked up the nerve to try them yet. Has anyone tried the muscle milk?

^^^are you "pulsing" or straight blending? i don't know what i'm doing wrong. I haven't tried it with milk because the flavors i've tried were fruit flavor and i didn't think milk would mix well with a fruit juice. does that make sense?

Idk what it is lol. I have a personal blender with its own cup, it was $29 at Walmart, made by Oster. It has 1 speed and it was mixed perfectly. I would say to blend it though. And if I were using a fruity one i'd probably just use Water. You could always strain it through a sieve to get clumps out if it's that bad. ? Idk what else to tell you, sorry!

They mix better in room temp liquid. I did not have good luck mixing in cold liquids at all.

I mixed mine with just a spoon and cold milk. Had no lumps at all.

Love the cappuccino flavor - I have the first thing in the morning. It helps the fact that I'm no longer having my coffee. Sometimes I will warm up the milk.

I was sleeved on 01/30/12 and I've been through a lot of Protein Shakes. I am so glad to have found Syntrex Nextar Sweets. My favorite one is the chocolate Truffle. I just bought a tub of that one. I also like the vanilla bean torte, and the strawberry. I just do ice, Water, and a little powdered chocolate Peanut Butter I bought from Amazon. Its really yummy and I started with the samples from BJsBariatrics. These are the best tasting Protein shakes out there.

The EAS Advantage RTD comes in 2 packages the 17 gr Protein gives you like 24 cartons; but the 20 gr protein I think gives you 18 cartons. I get mine at Sam's. I also like the premium from costco - it has 30 gr protein.

Wow! Thank you; I would've never thought to strain the drinks to get rid of the unmixed powder. I am sorta afraid to use the blender because of the "foam"; will it give me gas? Should I like..make it and let it settle in the fridge for a couple of hours?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
