ANY WORDS OF WISDOM FOR ME........?

MY DOCTOR IS DR. NICHOLAS BERTHA

*chuckles* Hiya Michelle! Youre not excited or anything are ya? :P

Grats on beating the insurance companies and getting approved!

Lots of us use the chat room, you can see when ppl are in there by looking at the bottom of the main page, under the forums.

Also, as for words of wisdom.. go into the FAQ and Reference Forum and you'll find many many threads about preparing for surgery, questions to ask, things to have on hand, etc.

Best wishes to ya! Keep us posted on how youre doing.

Hi Michelle and congratulations on getting your date. It must be exciting after waiting three years.

What are you reading about that you find scary? Please don't be afraid to ask us questions. We are all here to support one another and help alleviate any fears you may have. Remember, when people are doing really well with their bands (which is the majority) and having no problems, they tend to not be on the board posting as much. But the band is really wonderful and most do not experience very many complications, especially if you remember to eat slow, chew well and be careful about your food choices.

Welcome to the site, and congratz on your surgery being so close!! I know I was super excite when it got that close. Sept 7th is my daughter's birthday! YAY! Its a good ay...trust me. :) I hope everything goes really well, and I look forwar to seeing you on the board. Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you need to.
