22 More Days Until Im Sleeved :-)

Recommended Posts

22 days for me too! I'm do ready for this!

If I can offer you any encouragement, take all your large sips of liquid because after surgery, you will only take baby sips and it can test your patience. I am excited for you and will be praying for you.

That will be a hard one bc I am a drinker! I drink A LOT OF FLUIDS! Good for me for after surgery but it will suck to have to do it so slowly lol

Lmao your going to be the one. After a few times you wont be anymore lol. It usually takes me an hour to finish a 16oz bottle of Water. It takes me 2 hours to finish a 17oz EAS Protein shake.

I used to down bottles of Water, beer, cokes, oj and vodka...now lets just say slow and steady

I don't drink alcohol very often, surely not downing it haha. I do drink a lot it general though. I'll miss my sprite more than anything BUT it's worth losing this 105 lbs!

I'm sure it won't to much to slow me down if it's painful!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
