Yes I was on soft foods, such as eggs and cheese. My doc put me on them bf I even left the hospital. But onviously I couldnt down them very well. When dehydrated I had a dry mouth/lips, dark urine, disoriented, no energy, dizzy, lightheaded, faint, headaches. Im sure there was more I just cant think right now. They are also going to keep me tonight. Yay :( not! I just feel so sick and tired. I havent ate in 4days. They did give me a bag of a multi vitamen iv.... But is that good enough. And I do want to eat but im scared to, because of the pain.

I understand your not wanting to go to the hospital but you NEED to go asap. You're having the same symptoms I had with a leak. Please keep us posted, I'll keep you in my prayers.

Pevette, I contacted my Dr office on Friday I am in a lot of pain on my left side. I had surgery June 19th and have not felt pain like this even after surgery. I feel as though my stomach is on fire on the inside. When I move, cough, laugh, or even some of the slightest moves make me want to cry. I have not run fever, had a leak, or even had any smell come from any of my wounds. However, one of my incisions is red around it then the other. My stomach is also warmer there than anywhere else. My Dr asked me for a picture and said that it is an infection, he called me in an antibotic and I have to take it every 4 hours until my pills are gone. Don't hesitate to call the dr go to the er or clinic. An infection is not something to play around with for any of us. I have been on the antibotics since Friday afternoon and I'm still in a tremendous amount of pain.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
