  12. I had two c sections and just recently had my sleeve on June 7th. Honestly, the only major discomfort from the surgery I had was gas pains but I walked, walked, and walked some more. And , of course, lived on gas x strips. The recovery from the sleeve is much easier than a c-section. If you are askin which is easier it is SLEEVE by far!!!
  13. I had trouble finding one too. I ended up tolerating the Ensure high protein creamy milk chocolate. Maybe try it out. it has 25 g of protein per drink!!

  16. I am going through what you are too! I had my sleeve on June 7th. I just started drinking high protein ensure the creamy milk chocolate and it is helping me to get my protein in. The nausea has also stopped since I quit trying to eat solids and just concentrating on fluids and protein. I read on here that everyone's sleeve is different and got the idea of waiting a little longer before eating solids. Maybe you might want to give it a try too. Hope you feel better soon!!

  18. Muscle milk was too thick for me. You might want to buy one and test it first. I ended up starting with special k packets with protein that u add to water.

  20. It's ok!!! Just pick yourself up and keep going!! I am the same way, as far as the head hunger. I didn't realize how much my head controlled my eating until having this surgery!! Good luck in the future. Maybe next time just try to eat the toppings off the pizza. That wouldn't be quite as bad, right???
  21. has anyone else had trouble going from liquid to puréed stage? It seems every time I eat anything other than liquids I feel nauseous. Any suggestions?
  22. Good luck to you!! I'm glad you are doing something for you!!!
  23. Don't be nervous. I just had mine done on June 7th and its not bad at all!!! The hardest part is the gas pains. Best of luck to you!!
  24. Wishing you a speedy recovery!!

  26. I was so glad to find this!! I thought I was just overreacting. Lol my taste buds have changed ALOT since having surgery. Orange Gatorade and mango madness snapple are the only thing that keep me hydrated. It's nice to know there is hope and I am looking forward to some type of normal.
  27. It's tried this and it was great. Blueberry yogurt Cottage cheese Banana Fuze peach mango And ice Yummmm!!!!! And protein!!
