Where Is My Period Ladies?

I had surgery on 5/14 and am feeling great...except that my period is a week late. Does anyone know if this is related? Thanks!

Ohh i knew if i searched for period and surgery i'd find something! Well aunt flo is visiting me a day before my surgery date not sure if thats good or bad. I get reallly bad cramps and vsg patients shouldnt take NSAIDS around the surgery date (so no more of my usual ib profen), so i need to figure out what else i can take? Also i read they make u wear surgical panties that have a pad in it, is this true?? Anyone get away with wearing tampons? I hate pads, so diaper like! I feel like i'd living my fifth grade years all over again. If i have to do it I can live with that just having my fingers crossed to not have to :)
