This May Be Inappropriate, Forgive Me :)

Recommended Posts

I haven't read the whole post yet, but commented in preop on their version of this so I wanted to bring this over here:

Okay, I have to say this because I have seen this 3 times in a single week now. Using the word vajayjay really does not make something less offensive (if you are going to be offended by it) or more appropriate than using the actual word for it. Many of our mothers programmed us the word Vagina is inappropriate, which it is not. (Same goes for when you are at your doc ladies). My mom raised me calling it a "Suzy". Now every time I meet a girl with that name, I internally snicker. See, ruined!! Please don't be afraid to call it (and raise your children to call it) a vagina.

When my kids were little, the parts were called Jeenie and Peenie. Why? Because you never know what kids are going to blurt out full volume at Target. Of course the "anatomically correct" words are taught and known, but what fun is that?

If I forced that issue, my darling 3year old (at the time) would have never come up with talking about her "butt in the front". Much more laugh inducing than vagina. Trust me, it has nothing to do with shame and everything to do with hysterical giggles at my house.

So this thread came to mind today for me...

So I decided to just ask my husband' date=' "Did I lose weight in my vagina?" He belted out laughing and nearly fell off his bike. Did I mention we were mountain biking at full speed? He said he'd have to put that one in the books of one of the things he loves about me.

Oh, and he his answer was, "Yes, a little bit"[/quote']

I was already giggling reading this thread up to this point....then I read your post and started laughing so hard it took a full minute to catch my breath and clear the tears from my eyes!!!!ROFL!! LMAO!!!!

Technically I guess we could google "how much fat is in a va jay jay" and then get a study done on yours before and measure the difference. I fear I may never stop laughing. I'm just waiting for someone to tell me I'm immature because it's a serious question. And it is. But..... :D:P:rolleyes:

Bahahahaha......funny!

Gotta love our lady parts, no matter what size or shape...I'll take some floppy skin down there in exchange for being skinny ;)

Haha... You did go there! That's why you need panties as a buffer, so if they fall out they can't go far! You turned the kinky up a notch with assuming you'd be "free ballin" on the treadmill lol

I think my Water just broke and I am NOT pregnant! LMBO!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
