Ok. Profile pic updated. And just to prove to Wendy I'm not shy (never been called that before ;) I thought I'd pose an arm shot LOL.

Dean, I just became Catholic this Easter. :)

That's a nice time to be baptised :)

Wow you look hot! And I am married! Now I'm even more sad that you missed out on the lunch with Kelli and me!

Wow Dean - you look totally different! Great muscle tone! Well done!

Ruby's a great name Wendy. Hope that all plays out well for you and your daughter - congratulations.

I'm not shy' date=' I just don't have one! I think you'd know by now, shy is the last thing I am!! ;)

My daughters have their confirmation Friday night - I'm sure there will be some happy snappers there.[/quote']

Love the 'guns' Dean, you have lost so much since we last met early this year. So proud of your achievement and isn't it great to know it's for good this time?

That's awesome' date=' Bec! Anything you lose now is weight you don't have to lose afterward! And it will be easier for your surgeon to see everything too. Your surgery date is coming up so fast! How are you feeling about it?

To the veterans, when you went on purée could you eat 1/2 cup! I have had no trouble eating that much in 20 minutes even though I expected to. I wonder if its because it is almost like liquid and I will feel more restriction on solids. I am getting about 600 calories, 60 grams of Protein, and about 6 glasses of Water a day. I'm trying to do better on the water but there are only so many hours in the day![/quote']

Hi Misty, you re doing well and getting in half a cup over 20 minutes is fine. My doc said that if you haven't finished eating the serving in 20 minutes, out it aside and don't continue. It gets easier as the swelling of your new smaller tummy reduces and you move onto solids. Getting the water in each day outside of eating is a constant struggle. Best advice is to wait half an hour after eating then carry water with you everywhere and sip constantly until 15 minutes before your next meal. If I don't carry it with me I forget to drink and go for other options such as coffee.

I've been good thanks' date=' lots of dramas but hanging in there. My daughter had her baby the other day, 8 weeks early, but both are doing well, thankfully. A 3 lb.little girl named Ruby.

Anyway, enough about me, why are you so shy about a new pic?[/quote']

Congratulations on your new addition to the family. We have a niece called Ruby too and it's such a lovely name. Best wishes to you and your family and especially for your daughter for a speedy recovery.

Thanks Kell :)

Feels good to like the way you look for a change. I had two slabs of meat for arms for so long ...... now they're more like a bag of walnuts!

Thanks so much Kelli. Here's a pic of my daughter and Ruby.

They both look beautiful! What a blessing.

I hope that you are feeling better than a few weeks ago as well.

Thanks so much Kelli. Here's a pic of my daughter and Ruby.

They are both beautiful, but Ruby is so perfect and tiny. She looks like she is enjoying her cuddle with Mummy. What a precious little darling.

She is perfect' date=' just like any baby but a miniature baby.[/quote']

Will they need to wait until she is a little heavier before taking her home?
