LOL that's them! My packet didn't have a smell but I gave it a really good rinse (several minutes lol) and then just ran the boiling Water over it. It was really nice but as I said, so filling!! I'd recommend them for sure!

Lol,

Even my OAO couldn't get in my super greens powder, was disappointed :( now I'm on the hunt thru health stores for a similar algae/spirulina/chlorella and wheat grass/barley mix super vegie type power food powder thingy...

How's that for a futile fight?! Lol :D

hi aussies, im lying here in my hospital bed after being sleeved friday, I feel alot better today except for the gas pains. Hopefully these will subside soon enough. Its good to have the worst of it out of the way & to be able to look towards a healthier future. Anyone with questions I will answer as truthful as I can. Just want to wish all my fellow aussie sleevers all the best in your journeys you all can do this!! xx

Glad everything went well and you are getting through the worst of it. You will start feeling great , especially when you are back at home. Only good times ahead :)

To all Brissy / Gold Coast Sleevers, let's arrange a meet-up on Saturday 6 October at either Roma Street Parklands or South Bank. I personally love South Bank as I will take my children swimming after and there are great restaurants like Kapsali's or even just a cafe - we can discuss what your preferences are and decide on a suitable location but let's lock in 6/10 @ 1pm in your diaries.

We should look at getting together every 2 months or so, on 1st Saturday of the month where we can see our little group expanding over time and be here to support one another. I love hearing and seeing everyone's progress (and exciting for Beth getting closer to her surgery)

Let me know your thoughts :)

That's a great idea shellz, I an in for that day. So is it ok to bring kids, as my husband does night shift and sleeps during the day. Won't know his shift until closer to the time but I may have my 2yo with me.

Great idea to take them swimming. Could make a day of it and take him in early. Then meet up with the group. I am in, will put it in my calendar.

It's so nice to see it going down. I started at morbidly obese, now at obese so love it. Hopefully you will just be overweight in no time at all:)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
