Ok, I left out a comma and constructed my sentence poorly.

I should have wrote: "The story of the deaths in NY only surfaced when the news of him killing a couple of women in Jersey made the news."

or at least:

"It came out, when he killed a couple of women in Jersey, that he had previously killed in NY."

I just KNEW you were not going to let THAT go by without a response. LOL.

Actually, I did not sleep while in English 101, 102 or 103, but I made the huge mistake of dating an English major who was 2 years ahead of me. She typed all my papers for me (free). My sub-par writing skills can be blamed on that youthful indiscretion of 44 years ago.

Thank goodness you qualified that with a time frame! At first glance, I thought I might have dated you in college! Not to worry, though. I wasn't old enough to date 44 years ago. Especially not an "older" man like yourself. LOL

In addition to being a full-time RN, I'm also a full-time PhD student (shoot me now). LOL. I mentor 8 graduate students a semester and I really am shocked when I read the poor quality of the formal writing they submit in the forms of research papers. It makes me wonder how they got into graduate school. Worse, it seems to devalue higher education.

OK, time to get off the soap box now. LOL.

Amazing how different news broadcasts have different information. I heard that John Ramsey had not idea who John Karr is. Of course, I heard that on my local news.

The cable networks said the same thing. Though Karr said he knew the Ramsey's, the father denied it.

$118,000 is a strange Ransom request.

The only thing in common seems to be the first names of the suspect and the father.

Carlene, the book put out by one of the Boulder police wrote one of the hand prints on the paper belonged to pasty Ramsey. But that could be His veiw! also the book put out by the Ramsey is there story,or what they would like to to Believe. All that I' can state with out a doubt there was a Horrific crime done to Jonbent Ramsey and I' hope who ever did it will burn in hell for that. And that any person who kill's a child should be put to death if found guilty by Dna no 2nd guess Death. Im not tryiny to make any one mad just my own thought.........

redball.gifThank you Nora for providing me with a much clearer photo.

The photo above shows Attorney Mike Bynum standing at the "intruder window" in the basement of the Ramsey home. You see Mr. Bynum's left hand resting on the sill showing Diane Sawyer of Prime Time that the window is large enough to accommodate an intruder entrance to the home. You can also see the shadowed figure of the grate at the top of the photo.

The important thing, and something that I believe the public may have overlooked is not the size of the window, not the fact that the window may have been broken, not the obvious fact that if an intruder did enter the house here his entrance would have been hidden from prying eyes on 15th street.

What is it?

It's paint!

Paint!

Paint plays a very important role in the Ramsey Murder Mystery. There is a paint brush handle. There are paint cans located in the body room in the basement that I believe caused the "scrape...scrape...scrape" sound reported by the neighbor. He told police that the sound of metal on concrete was not a one time "thud", but a series of scraping sounds.

Place some paint cans on a cement floor and push them along with your foot to move them. What do you hear?

Scrape..Scrape...Scrape.

Were these paint cans pushed out of the way to make room for the lifeless body of JonBenet Ramsey in the center of the body room?

I believe they were.

It's reported that a piece of sheet metal was removed from the body room by the police. We don't know how large it was or any other information regarding it's character. Is it the source of the "scrape"? I think it was the stack of paint cans.

But what about the Window?

On the left side of the window casing you'll see how the wood and the paint is in disrepair. You can see that the paint has fallen away and it appears that portions of the underlying wood are visible. The right window also shows wear at the lower edge of the open window pane. The wood has dried and a split is visible.

Bynum is inavdvertenly showing us the most important portion of the window. He draws attention with the placement of his hand to the bottom sill. You can see where the paint is weathered and chipped away. It looks as if a dark colored paint was on the wood before the window frame was painted a lighter color. Some of the light paint has dried, deteriorated and fallen away from the sill leaving the darker paint exposed. Before I scanned the photo I could actually see the chipping of the paint.

If

An intruder climbed down into the lower area under the metal grate and then came in through that window there is no way that could have been accomplished without disturbing the loose white paint chips that have pulled away from the underlying paint. The chips would have left signs of fresh disturbance and in addition they would have attached themselves to the intruder clothing, later to be transferred about the crime scene and also fallen away in the area of the window disturbance.

We don't know if the police found paint chips around that window area or the remainder of the crime scene. I speculate that if they did find something, Mr. Lou Smit would have been kind enough to tell us.

TWO+TWO=FIVE

IT DOESN'T ADD UP!

We now know that approximately SEVEN MONTHS after the murder John Ramsey told the police the he left the upper portion of the house and went to the basement alone. He reported to the police that he found an open window and CLOSED IT!!!!!. This trip occurred before the body was discovered and is reported to have happened sometime around 11:00 a.m. the morning of the 26th.

Why didn't he report this trip to the police eariler?

Why would he close an open window when he knew the police, at that time, were searching for an intruder enterance to the house?

By this time did John Ramsey conclude that the "Bynum Window" had been ruled out as a point of entry, and decide that he would add another point of entry when he mentioned that he closed a window?

We hear he was out of sight and alone for approximately 40 minutes. Why would he return to the main portion of the house say nothing, take a seat and read his mail. If he reported the open window at that time, it would have sent the police directly to the basement again.

Was this obstruction to protect the "intruder killer."?

OR

Was this obstruction and evidence tampering to protect the "intruder killer theory?"

Is his excuse for not revealing the information at that time that he had already decided that the "lynch mob" was out to get him and he was not going to cooperate with them because they were looking nowhere outside the immediate family?

If so, it's strange thinking as the open window would have supported the intruder theory. Do I think that he moved the body at that point?

NO

Do I think he discovered the body, removed the tape, and determined that JonBenet was dead?

YES

There is more to this story and we will never truly No" Just like the LINDBERG BABY!!!!!

Patsy is the one who found the ransom note - on the stairs, early on the morning of Dec 26th. She picked it up and read at least part of the note, so of course it had her prints on it. Then she gave it to her husband, who also handled it.

Poor police work allowed the crime scene to become so contaminated that it may be difficult to ever get a conviction.

Personally I believe that Karr had nothing to do with the killing, but he spoke (verbally, e-mail, etc.) with the killer and that is why he knows so much of the unpublicized information about the crime scene.

The DNA might exonerate him, but he needs to spend time in jail for his false confession and for his other child porn and pedophilia related crimes. Or maybe a long stint in the loony bin?

Just heard on the radio that John Mark Karr's DNA did not match the DNA found at the scene of JonBenet's murder. The Boulder DA has decided not to file formal charges. Imagine that. Perhaps they should have got their facts straight before they got the whole country in an uproar about this again. Karr was pretty smart though to confess to a crime he didn't commit to be extrodited from Thailand where he was facing child porn charges! Free ride and now he dosen't have to go back and face the music. The whole thing makes me sick!

1. No surprise.

2. Don't forget crimes commited overseas by US Citizens are still prosecutable. Its quite possible the Thai government could provide enough evidence to still get him charged with that.

Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.
      https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.

Some days I feel like an infiltrator... I'm participating in society as a "thin" person. They have no idea that I haven't always been one of them! 🤣

Thank you everyone for your well wishes! I totally forgot I wrote an update here... I'm one week post op today. I gained 15 lbs in water weight overnight because they had to give me tons of fluids to bring my BP up after surgery! I stayed one night in the hospital. Everything has been fine except I seem to have picked up a bug while I was there and I've been running a low grade fever, coughing, and a sore throat. So I've been hydrating well and sleeping a ton. So far the Covid tests are negative.
I haven't been able to advance my diet past purees. Everything I eat other than tofu makes me choke and feels like trying to swallow rocks. They warned me it would get worse before it gets better, so lets hope this is all normal. I have my follow up on Monday so we'll see. Living on shakes and soup again is not fun. I had enough of them the first time!! LOL

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!
