Any ladies have this problem? So I got off the depo shot a year ago and since then I feel like im constantly gaining weight. I'm getting my sleeve in June, but I'm so frustrated. I made a doctors appointment. All my blood work came out normal and my thyroids are good. Anyone know how long it takes to get the depo out of ur system or if anyone thinks it really messes with ur hormones that much and makes u gain weight that quickly? I watch what I eat most of the time but no where to where I would gain as much as I have... So irritating

I gained about 70lbs over the course of about 15 years on Depo. It screwed up my body's natural weight resting point, robbed me of Calcium and made me lose my sex drive. It is EVIL stuff and my idiot ex GP should never have allowed me to stay on it for so long. yes it should be taken off the market for sure.
