I went through a period like that, a few weeks out, when I thought I'd never get full. I was hungry all the time and sometimes it felt like I could eat way too much. I'm 10 weeks out now, and I think a week or so ago, that finally settled down. 1/4 cup at your stage is perfect. If you can eat 1/2 cup, I would not panic. It depends on what you're eating. As they have mentioned above, a solid Protein will fill you up very quickly.

It was mentioned to me that it takes a couple months to get all the Grehlin (hunger hormone) out of your system after surgery. I can believe that. I feel sooo much better now, and satisfied with much less. We went to a Mexican restaurant tonight and I ate one chicken taco and thought I was going to burst! I love it.
